I go into every single session and event with the understanding that I cannot control everything that happens and to just let humanity be the guide.
Each individual is allowed to be exactly who they want to be and I intentionally create space for them.

I value community, diversity, trust, creativity, and excellence. Photography is my ongoing love letter to humanity and the magic that lives within every person.
I chose to establish myself as a full time professional photographer in January 2021. Prior to that, I had 13 years of amateur photography experience in which I was constantly expanding my portfolio and developing the knowledge and skills I needed to pursue this full time. I've been photographing clients for a total of 16+ years and I am so grateful for every experience it has lead me to!
Aside from photography, I am also a licensed cosmetologist. I graduated from Oliver Finley Academy of Cosmetology in the spring of 2019 and began my first real journey of full time self employment in April of that year. At that time, I had never imagined trying to pursue a career in photography again and, in fact, I had told myself that turning what I love to do most into a career was probably never going to work. Being a business owner as a hairstylist taught me more than I had expected, however, and two years later I found myself diving headfirst back into this creative medium as a full blown career.
